The Hatsan Factor BP is a 6.35 mm (.25 calibre) PCP air rifle that combines a full-length 585 mm barrel with a compact bullpup layout. Positioning the action and magazine behind the trigger keeps the overall length to 870 mm without sacrificing barrel length.

The rifle uses a manual side-lever action. Operating the lever cocks the mechanism, indexes the magazine and chambers the next pellet. The 6.35 mm version uses a 19-shot rotary magazine, and two magazines are included.

Factor BP provides several external adjustment options. Regulator pressure, hammer preload and the three-position transfer port can be adjusted to suit the projectile and desired performance. Separate gauges allow both bottle pressure and regulator pressure to be monitored.

The 6.35 mm version has a stated maximum muzzle energy of 56.4 joules and a maximum velocity of 294 m/s. Actual performance varies according to the rifle settings as well as pellet weight and design.

Compressed air is stored in a detachable 580 cc carbon fibre bottle with a maximum fill pressure of 250 bar. Hatsan states approximately 50 shots at optimal velocity from a full fill in the 6.35 mm version. A Foster quick-connect fitting provides straightforward filling.

The 585 mm precision-rifled and choked steel barrel is fully shrouded. Hatsan's QuietEnergy system incorporates sound moderation into the barrel assembly to reduce the firing report. A 1/2" UNF muzzle thread is also provided for a compatible muzzle accessory.

The black synthetic bullpup stock features an adjustable cheekpiece and rubber butt pad. The soft rubber pistol grip can be repositioned to suit different hand sizes, with approximately 15 mm of adjustment available for finger distance to the trigger.

Optics are mounted on a combined 11 mm / 22 mm rail. It accepts 11 mm dovetail mounts as well as 22 mm Picatinny/Weaver mounts. An additional 22 mm Picatinny rail beneath the fore-end can be used for a compatible bipod or other accessory.

The Quattro Trigger is a fully adjustable two-stage system, and the trigger shoe position can also be adjusted. In addition to the manual safety, Hatsan's Anti-Knock system is designed to reduce the risk of unintended discharge if the rifle receives an impact.

The Hatsan Factor BP is supplied in a protective hard case. Its compact bullpup layout, adjustable PCP system and 19-shot magazine make it a versatile platform for target and precision shooting.
