The Marui Boys Sopmod M4 is Tokyo Marui's reduced-size take on the familiar M4 carbine platform. Its compact proportions and lightweight construction make it easy to handle while retaining recognizable M4 details. The model features a RAS-style front end for accessories and an adjustable retractable stock.

The AEG offers both semi-automatic and full-automatic firing modes, selected with the side-mounted fire selector. In full-auto mode, the rate of fire is approximately 15 rounds per second. An adjustable hop-up applies backspin to 0.12 g BBs for a more stable trajectory. The stated muzzle velocity is approximately 45 m/s.

Instead of a conventional rechargeable airsoft battery, the gun runs on six AA batteries housed in a PEQ-2-style case at the front.

The magazine holds 140 BBs, providing plenty of capacity for this compact AEG. A push-button grip safety adds another layer of control, allowing the gun to fire only while the safety button is pressed. The Sopmod M4 Boys combines classic M4 styling, compact handling and straightforward battery-powered operation.
