The MCS 50–100 J tuning kit is designed for Mercury Rise IntruBuster Gen1 and Gen2 models as well as Pistelle X-68 Gen1 and Gen2 models. It provides two tuning chamber configurations for changing the system's power range without modifying the main internal components.

The kit contains a stainless-steel tuning chamber adapter together with a tuning chamber plug, tuning expansion and locking adapter manufactured from 6061 aluminium. The locking adapter is used when removing or installing the tuning chamber.

The shorter 25 mm configuration combines the tuning chamber adapter and tuning chamber plug. Its stated output range is approximately 50–70 joules.

For the longer 50 mm configuration, the tuning expansion is installed between the adapter and plug. This configuration has a stated output range of approximately 80–100 joules.

Both configurations can be used with a 12 g CO₂ cartridge located in the pistol grip or with an air tank connected to the tuning chamber. The manufacturer recommends an air tank pressure of around 900 psi for a balanced combination of consistent operation and component reliability. Higher pressures may increase stress on the O-rings and can result in more frequent replacement.

Actual muzzle energy can vary depending on the configuration, pressure, projectile and other operating conditions. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and applicable local laws and site regulations when installing and using the system.
