The Hatsan Velox is a 6.35 mm (.25 calibre) semi-automatic PCP air pistol combining a compact format, multi-shot operation and a removable compressed-air cylinder. Its tan polymer frame keeps the design practical, making the pistol well suited to recreational and target shooting.
The semi-automatic action prepares the next pellet without requiring a separate cocking movement after every shot. The 6.35 mm version uses a 10-shot rotary magazine. Two magazines are supplied, and the grip incorporates a dedicated storage position for the spare magazine.
The Velox is powered by a removable 55 cc air cylinder with a maximum fill pressure of 250 bar. Hatsan specifies approximately 19 shots at optimal velocity for the 6.35 mm version. A second cylinder is supplied and can be kept filled for a quick change when required. An integrated pressure gauge allows the remaining cylinder pressure to be monitored.
The 6.35 mm model has a stated muzzle energy of 20 joules and a maximum velocity of 175 m/s. Actual velocity varies according to the weight and design of the pellet being used.
The 140 mm precision-rifled barrel features a 1/2" UNF external thread for compatible muzzle accessories. With an overall length of 290 mm and a weight of approximately 1.25 kg, the Velox packages a full PCP operating system into a relatively compact pistol format.
For aiming, the pistol is equipped with adjustable three-dot fibre-optic sights. A combined 11/22 mm optics rail also allows a compatible red dot sight or other optic to be installed.
The ergonomic polymer grip is designed for both right- and left-handed shooters. A manual safety is positioned within easy reach around the grip area.
The Hatsan Velox is supplied in a polymer hard case with a shaped interior that keeps the pistol and accessories securely positioned during transport. The package includes two magazines, two 55 cc air cylinders and the required filling connector.
