Specna Arms SA-PH22 Prime BLDC Aster II ETU, Chaos Bronze

The Specna Arms SA-PH22 PRIME BLDC Aster II ETU is an HK416-style airsoft AEG with a factory-installed brushless motor, programmable electronic trigger unit and redesigned internals. Its metal receiver has a Nano Coating finish that helps reduce surface scratching. A Geissele SMR HK416-style handguard gives the rifle its distinctive appearance, while the adjustable polymer stock lets you adapt its length to your shooting position.

The DarkMatter High Speed 27k motor uses brushless BLDC technology, eliminating the carbon brushes that wear during use in a conventional motor. The GATE ASTER II Bluetooth ETU provides wireless access to trigger sensitivity, pre-cocking and firing-mode settings through the GATE Control Station app. You can adjust the rifle’s behaviour to suit your preferences without opening the gearbox. The electronics also provide motor and battery protection, along with a low-battery warning.

A Magnus TDC hop-up chamber works with a Helium Flat Hop bucking to let you adjust the BB’s flight path. The TDC design applies hop pressure from directly above the BB’s centreline. A 363 mm steel precision inner barrel with a 6.02 mm bore completes the assembly. The functional mock bolt catch makes the hop-up adjustment easier to access.

Inside the reinforced V2 Aether gearbox, CNC-machined 16:1 steel gears drive a polymer piston with a full steel tooth rack. Aluminium piston and cylinder heads work with a sealed nozzle to form the compression assembly. A combination of ball bearings and bushings supports the gears, while inspection windows make it easier to check internal operation during servicing.

The ESA2 quick spring change system allows spring replacement without specialist tools. Additional M90 and M135 springs are included, giving you options for adapting the rifle’s muzzle energy to different field requirements. Spring ratings alone do not determine the final output: check the rifle with a chronograph using your game BBs after every spring change. The outer barrel has a 14 mm CCW thread for compatible airsoft accessories.

The package includes two 125-round S-MAG mid-cap magazines, a BB speedloader and a cleaning rod. The rifle uses a Deans / T-connect battery connector, and a Mini Tamiya-to-Deans adapter is included. A battery and charger are not included and must be purchased separately.
