The green Specna Arms SA-C22 CORE HAL ETU Gen2 is an M4/AR15-style electric airsoft rifle combining a fibre-reinforced polymer receiver, a metal M-LOK handguard and a programmable electronic trigger unit. This second-generation CORE model offers a useful range of adjustments with its standard components. At approximately 2.53 kg, it remains manageable during longer days on the field.

The HAL ETU detects trigger movement magnetically using Hall-effect sensors. Five trigger sensitivity settings and six pre-cocking levels let you adjust the trigger feel to your preferences. Active braking complements the system, while programmable firing options include semi-auto, full-auto, three-round and five-round bursts, and binary mode. Settings are programmed through the trigger without a separate programming device. A low-voltage alarm helps you recognise when the battery needs charging.

Inside the rifle is a reinforced Æther V2 gearbox with a strengthened front section, a mainspring release function and inspection windows for maintenance. The ESA quick spring change system allows the mainspring to be replaced without removing or opening the gearbox. An additional M90 spring is supplied for reducing muzzle velocity when a lower output is required. Check the muzzle energy with a chronograph and follow your site's power limits.

The Magnus TDC hop-up chamber uses a rotary adjustment to help you find a suitable setting for your chosen BBs. It works alongside a Helium Flat Hop bucking, a sealed aluminium nozzle and a 375 mm inner barrel with a 6.03 mm bore. These components provide a practical starting point for adjusting BB flight without immediately replacing internal parts.

The metal M-LOK handguard accepts compatible accessories, while the upper rail provides space for an optic such as a red dot sight. The folding sight can be lowered when using an optic. An adjustable SF stock lets you adapt the rifle's length to your shooting position, and its textured butt plate helps it stay seated against your shoulder. A 14 mm CCW muzzle thread accepts compatible airsoft mock suppressors and tracer units.

The package includes the rifle, two 125-round S-MAG mid-cap magazines, a BB speedloader, a cleaning rod, an additional M90 spring and a Mini Tamiya–Deans adapter. The battery and charger are sold separately. The rifle itself uses a Deans / T-connect battery connector.

For initial setup, the manufacturer's instructions specify activating the HAL module by holding the trigger for approximately five seconds with the selector in SAFE immediately after connecting the battery. Read the supplied manual before first use and before programming the settings.
