The Evolution Recon 14.5 Carbontech is an Italian-designed electric airsoft gun that combines low weight, durable construction and straightforward maintenance. The Recon Superlite series is particularly well suited to players looking for a capable first AEG, while its reinforced internals and practical features also make it a solid platform for more experienced users.

The body and redesigned handguard are manufactured from Evolution's Carbontech™ technopolymer. This keeps the 14.5-inch platform at approximately 2.3 kg while maintaining a rigid construction. Steel sling mounts, integrated flip-up sights, laser markings and retained body pins complete the practical exterior.

Inside is a reinforced aluminium gearbox with 8 mm self-lubricating steel bushings, steel gears and a reinforced piston with a full steel tooth rack. A High Torque 22000 RPM motor provides dependable operation. The reinforced spring guide can be removed without taking the gearbox out of the receiver, making spring changes and routine maintenance considerably easier.

Evolution's TAG™ Tool-less Access Grip provides quick access to the motor compartment without tools. This makes checking, adjusting and maintaining the motor simple without unnecessary disassembly.

A rotary hop-up chamber provides precise and repeatable adjustment. It is paired with a 6.01 mm precision inner barrel designed to support consistent trajectories and good accuracy. The combination makes the Recon suitable for both CQB environments and larger outdoor fields.

The rifle comes with an Evolution Matrixx™ magazine. Its textured surface provides a secure grip even when wearing gloves, while the shaped front section offers a convenient point for pulling the magazine from the magwell. A tempered steel spring is designed for reliable feeding with heavier BBs and higher rates of fire.

The package also includes 2,000 Evolution 0.25 g BBs, three Picatinny rails, a trigger travel adjustment tool, 12 Evolution stickers and a carry box with a handle and protective foam interior. The Recon 14.5 Carbontech therefore provides a practical ready-to-use setup with a platform that remains easy to service and customise later.
