Delivery and Return Terms

1. General Information

Pro Hobby Oy (Business ID 2857699-2) sells products within Finland and the EU/EEA. All prices in our webshop include Finnish VAT (currently 14% and 25.5%) and are shown in euros (€), unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices or cancel an order if the product or price information contains a clear technical error, data error or human mistake in the online store.

The total amount of your order, including shipping costs, is always displayed in the shopping cart after you have selected your preferred shipping and payment method. No additional fees will be charged by Pro Hobby Oy.

Orders outside the EU

For non-EU countries and regions excluded from the EU VAT area, orders are treated as exports. These orders are shipped VAT-free. You are responsible for paying customs duties, VAT, and any other import charges in your own country.

2. Delivery Time and Costs

Delivery time

  • Products in stock are shipped within 1–3 business days.

  • Products stored in external warehouses may extend delivery time by a few additional business days.

  • Payment method does not affect processing time.

  • If a product is out of stock, we will contact you with an updated delivery estimate.

A tracking code will be sent to your email once your order has been shipped.

Shipping methods and costs — Finland

All domestic orders are shipped via Matkahuolto, including deliveries to Åland.

  • Matkahuolto Near or Bus Parcel: 6.90 €
    Delivery time: 1–3 business days.

  • Matkahuolto Home Delivery (Kotijakelu): 10.90 €
    Delivered to your home at an agreed time via SMS.

  • Store pickup (Helsinki or Tampere): 0 €

ADR / Dangerous Goods Fee (VAK)

If your order contains dangerous goods (e.g. smoke grenades or pyrotechnic items), a 3.30 € ADR/VAK fee is added.
These shipments are delivered only via Home Delivery or according to Matkahuolto's restrictions.

Shipping methods and costs — Other countries

International EU orders are shipped with GLS to the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

  • GLS International Shipping: 13.90 €
    Delivery time: approximately 5–8 business days.

Some shipping methods may qualify for free shipping depending on the total order value. Available methods are shown automatically at checkout.


3. Shipping Methods in Detail

Matkahuolto Near and Bus Parcel (Finland)

  • Delivered to the nearest pickup point or partner store.

  • You will receive an SMS when the parcel is ready for pickup.

  • ADR/VAK items may be limited to specific pickup points.

Home Delivery (Finland)

  • Delivered to your home at an agreed time.

  • SMS notification is sent for scheduling.

  • Ensure your phone number is correct.

Store Pickup (Finland)

You may pick up your order in our Helsinki or Tampere stores.
A notification will be sent when your order is ready.


4. Payment Methods

You can pay using:

  • debit and credit cards

  • Finnish online bank payments

  • invoice

  • installment/split payment (when available)

Any additional fees for specific payment methods are shown during checkout.

Payment service provider

Secure payments are processed by our partners.
Card and online bank payments are handled by Paytrail.
Invoice and installment payments are provided by Avarda.


5. Invoice and Installment Payments (Avarda)

Invoice and payment plan services are provided by Avarda (Business ID 2594352-3).

At checkout, a credit decision is made, which may include verification of your address and credit information. Campaign terms such as interest-free periods or payment plans are shown clearly at checkout.

You can:

  • pay the invoice in full

  • pay the minimum amount

  • split the payment into installments

  • pay off the remaining balance at any time without additional costs

6. Warranty and Defect Liability

All products are covered by the statutory six-month defect liability for material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of purchase.

The warranty/defect liability does not cover:

  • improper use or misuse

  • damage due to poor maintenance or incorrect storage

  • damage caused by modifying, tuning, or disassembling the product

  • using batteries or gas outside the recommended specifications

  • normal wear and tear

  • use of airsoft equipment in extreme weather (e.g. freezing temperatures)

If you suspect your product is defective:

  1. Contact us first: info (at) prohobby.fi

  2. Do not disassemble the product. Doing so may void your warranty.

If a product is returned for inspection and no defect is found, we may charge an inspection fee and shipping costs.

Keep the original packaging and all accessories. Missing items may reduce the refund amount.


7. Returning a Product

General return requirements

  • Products must be unused and in original, resellable condition.

  • All original packaging and accessories must be included.

  • Clothing may be tried on, but not used outdoors.

  • Pack products carefully to avoid damage in return transit.

Include in the return package:

  • the order receipt or return form

  • your contact details

  • list of returned products

  • whether you want a refund or exchange

  • your bank account number (if needed)

Returns — Finland

  • Return period: 14 days from receiving the shipment.

  • Products must be returned using the same carrier that delivered them (Matkahuolto).

  • Matkahuolto Near parcels must be returned from the same pickup point.

Before sending your return:

  1. Contact customer service: info (at) prohobby.fi

  2. Follow the instructions and use the provided customer return details.

Return processing time for Matkahuolto is typically 1–7 business days.

Returns — Other countries

The customer is responsible for:

  • all return shipping costs

  • any fees charged to Pro Hobby Oy by carriers or customs

These costs will be deducted from the refund.

Do not send international returns as Cash On Delivery (COD). Such parcels will be refused.

8. Undeliverable Packages

Finland

If the parcel is returned to us as undeliverable:

  1. We will first contact you to arrange re-delivery.

  2. If the parcel returns a second time, we may charge all related shipping costs.

Customers using Cash On Delivery may lose access to that payment method if parcels remain uncollected.

Other countries

If an international parcel is returned as undeliverable, shipping and related costs will be deducted from the refund.


9. Changes and Cancellation of Orders

You may modify or cancel your order before it has been processed for shipping.

To make changes or cancel an order, contact us immediately:

We will confirm the changes and send an updated order confirmation if necessary.

Once the order has shipped, normal return terms apply.


10. Force Majeure and Shipping Restrictions

We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by factors beyond our control, such as:

  • strikes

  • natural disasters

  • acts of war

  • confiscation

  • import/export restrictions

  • carrier limitations on certain product types (e.g. gas, airsoft guns)

11. Privacy Policy (Summary)

When creating an account or placing an order, your personal data is stored in our customer register to ensure order processing and customer service.

  • Data is kept on encrypted, password-protected servers.

  • Data may be used for marketing only with your consent.
