The Hatsan Velox T50 is a .50 calibre PCP rubber ball pistol combining semi-automatic operation with a replaceable compressed-air cylinder in a compact handgun format. It is designed for recreational, training and target shooting with compatible rubber projectiles.
The semi-automatic action prepares the next shot without requiring the shooter to manually cycle the mechanism after every discharge. A five-shot magazine provides a practical capacity for consecutive shots, and two 5-shot magazines are supplied with the pistol.
The Velox T50 is powered by a removable 55 cc compressed-air cylinder mounted beneath the barrel. Maximum fill pressure is 250 bar, with the manufacturer stating approximately 20 effective shots from a full cylinder. The cylinder can be removed and replaced with a filled spare, and a second cylinder is included. An integrated pressure gauge makes it easy to monitor the remaining air pressure.
In its standard configuration, the .50 cal model produces approximately 10 J of muzzle energy and a maximum stated velocity of 136 m/s, depending on the projectile used. With the supplied barrel extension installed, the manufacturer states a maximum energy of approximately 15 J.
The 165 mm barrel and semi-automatic PCP mechanism are housed in a compact platform measuring approximately 300 mm overall and weighing around 1.2 kg. The advanced polymer frame keeps the construction manageable, while the ergonomic grip is suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters.
Fibre-optic open sights provide a clear aiming reference. A combined 11/22 mm optics rail also allows a compatible red dot sight or other optic to be fitted. A manual safety is positioned within easy reach around the grip area.
The Hatsan Velox T50 is supplied in a protective hard case. The package includes two five-shot magazines, two 55 cc air cylinders, a fill adaptor, barrel extension and spare O-rings.
