The Umarex Elite Force TXP 4.5 mm is a straightforward CO₂-powered air pistol designed for recreational shooting, plinking and practicing basic shooting technique. Its lightweight polymer construction makes the pistol easy to handle, while the simple operating system is well suited to shooters looking for an accessible CO₂ air pistol.

The TXP fires 4.5 mm (.177) steel BBs from a removable 15-round magazine. Power is supplied by a single 12 g CO₂ cartridge housed inside the grip. Its NBB design keeps the slide stationary during firing, helping the pistol use CO₂ efficiently. Depending on temperature, firing pace and maintenance, one cartridge can provide up to approximately 100 shots.

The DAO, or Double Action Only, trigger both cocks and releases the firing mechanism with each trigger pull. This creates a simple and consistent operating cycle. An automatic trigger safety is also integrated into the design to help reduce the risk of an unintended shot.

Fixed front and rear sights provide a clear sight picture for recreational target shooting. A 22 mm Picatinny rail beneath the barrel allows compatible accessories such as a light or laser to be mounted. The muzzle also features an M14x1 LH thread for a compatible muzzle-mounted accessory.

With a muzzle energy of approximately 3 joules and a velocity of up to around 130 m/s, the TXP is intended primarily for short-range recreational shooting. Its compact dimensions and approximately 580 g weight keep the pistol comfortable and easy to control.
