The Hatsan Jet 2 is a versatile 4.5 mm PCP air pistol that can be converted quickly into a compact carbine. Its included telescopic stock attaches and detaches without tools, allowing the configuration to be adapted easily to different shooting positions, applications and user preferences.
In pistol form, the Jet 2 is compact and lightweight. With the telescopic stock installed, it provides a more stable shooting position and additional support for precision shooting. The TTS stock offers adjustable length of pull and cheek-rest height, while its rubber buttpad improves comfort. The symmetrical polymer grip is suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
The Jet 2 is powered by two parallel 40 cc aluminium air cylinders, providing a total capacity of 80 cc. Maximum fill pressure is 250 bar, and the integrated pressure gauge allows the remaining air pressure to be monitored at a glance. The cylinders are removable, making it possible to replace an empty cylinder assembly with an optional pre-filled spare.
According to the manufacturer, a full charge can provide up to approximately 60 shots in the 4.5 mm FAC configuration. The number of effective, consistent shots is listed separately as approximately 18. Actual shot count depends on pellet weight, temperature, fill pressure and the specific power version.
A biathlon-style side lever is located on the left side of the receiver, providing a fast and light cocking motion. In pistol configuration, its position is particularly natural for right-handed use, while in carbine configuration it may feel especially convenient for a left-handed shooter.
The 200 mm rifled barrel is manufactured from German steel and protected by an outer sleeve. A choked muzzle supports controlled pellet guidance and consistent accuracy. The pistol is intended for use with 4.5 mm airgun pellets.
The Jet 2 features three integrated flip-up sights. Two separate rear sights provide an appropriate sight line for both pistol and carbine configurations. A full-length 11 mm dovetail rail accepts compatible red dot sights and scopes, while two 22 mm Picatinny rails on the sides of the air cylinder assembly provide mounting points for lights, lasers, bipods and other accessories.
An adjustable trigger allows the firing characteristics to be tailored to the user. The manual safety is positioned inside the trigger guard to help prevent unintended firing during handling.
Two rotary magazines and a single-shot adapter are included. The adapter allows a pellet to be loaded directly into the breech, reducing the risk of pellet deformation and supporting maximum accuracy. The package also includes a hard storage case, a filling adapter for Hatsan pumps and a spare O-ring set.
The Hatsan Jet 2 is well suited to target shooting, recreational practice and shooters who want to combine the compact format of a PCP pistol with the improved stability of a small carbine.
