The USP (Universelle Selbstladepistole or "universal self-loading pistol") is a semi-automatic pistol developed in Germany by Heckler & Koch as a replacement for the P7 series of handguns.
Like the real steel version, Marui's version is also with double action trigger. In addition to this, there is also a decock function which allows you to safely drop the hammer with a lever located in the lower frame. Magazine release works just like in the real gun too. Release is conviently located under the trigger guard making the magazine change easier. This is also possible for both, left and right handed users.
Marui has also updated the internals of their new gas guns. The most remarkable feature is the new 15mm large bore cylinderi which guarantees more stable shots and heavier blow back.
Marui delivers with their gun an adapter for your choice of accessories. This adapter is attached to the rail located under the main frame of this pistol. For this rail you can attach for example a lamp or a laser.
This pistol is very fammiliar from movies and games of today. Legendary Jack Bauer has most likely made this gun famous through the award winning series 24.

NOTE! All ordinary gas guns work poorly in the cold. Therefore, the gas guns can not be used in cold winter conditions. Action Air, SRA and IDPA shooters: Make sure this gun fits to your holster properly!
Although the Marui Gas Guns seem to be much poor in performance in the light of numbers (for example in velocity) for many other pistols, the practical performance is quite unique in their class. Accuracy and range are world-renowned, and Marui is therefore the most popular brand among the those who shoot lot. The quality and good design of parts is also reflected in the fact that the Marui's weapons that have been in used for more than 10 years and they still work after that flawlessly.
