SL85 is an airsoft replica of the SL-8 rifle. The SL-8 rifle was originally designed as a civilian rifle based on the G36 assault rifle at the turn of the millennium. SL means Self Loading or Selbst-Lade, which refers to semi-automatic weapon. Although the weapon can be used for sports as well as hunting, it is a weapon, that is on active use of more than one army, due to its high quality structure and good operational reliability. It is used by for example: SAS, GROM, Bundeswehr, GOE and the Spanish Air Force.
On the top of the gun there is a weaver rail, in addition to the iron sights, where one can attach an optical sight. Under the handguard, there is a rail for accessories such as lamps or bipods. There additional rails that can be fitted with extra accessories on both side of the gun. The rifle is supplied with the bipods that can be attached to the rail located beneath the handguard. There will be 20rd magazine supplied with this gun, but this rifle will also work with regular, slightly longer G36 magazines.
NOTE! It is not possible to attach a silencer to this weapon.
Sling mounts, magazine release and fire selector are suitable for right and left handed players. There is a durable metallic ver.3 mecha box with Marui-compatible tuning parts. The length of the stock can be adjusted with the adjusting pads that are supplied. The complete package includes everything you need to get started: gun, magazine, battery, charger, bipods and pads for adjusting the stock.
